This Community is primarily for Australian Cattle Dog lovers, for people who enjoy living with these amazing dogs, and for rescue associated with this breed, so please join us if you wish to share your lives and experiences with us.

If you are researching the breed, feel free to join us as well. We are a fun, friendly and informative site.

Although the administrators and moderators of AuCaDo Forums will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of AuCaDo forums, or Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. (developers of vBulletin) will be held responsible for the content of any message. Aucado.us is a privately owned system with access provided to the public under condition. We reserve the right to revoke your access or that of your parent domain without warning or notice for any reason at the discretion of the site owners.


In order to keep our forum friendly and peaceful, with a minimum of conflict, we have compiled the following guidelines for your perusal. Please bear in mind we are not enforcing a totalitarian regime, we merely wish for our members to treat their fellows in the manner that they would like to be treated.

* Upon applying for membership, you MUST tell Management a little something about yourself and why you would like to join. Something more than "I like ACD's" would be appreciated so we can differentiate between spammers and genuine applicants. Applications left blank or with too little information WILL be denied.
* Free email addresses from such sites as hotmail or gmail etc will be automatically rejected but if you have a valid referral from an existing member please contact management via the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the forum for information on joining. We will be happy to help you!
* We enforce posting 'by Topic'. Please be sure that your posting is in the proper Topic. Misplaced posts will be moved and you may have trouble locating them later.
* Absolutely NO personal attacks or spam will be tolerated, no exceptions. Personal issues between members are not permitted to be posted in the forums here on AuCaDo. If you have a problem with a particular post then please learn to use the "report post" function of the forum.
* No hard language is permitted. Our filters mask most swear words but even so, we frown upon the usage of swear words used in general conversation in the forums. Even more so if the swear word is directed at someone in particular.
* We do not permit public advertising of any thing for sale outside of the classifieds section! This includes posting litters of pups for sale, or merchandise you have made. Breeders are welcome to post litter announcements, photos, and updates but must refrain from seeking buyers on AuCaDo. Private communications are of course perfectly alright.
* This forum has a policy of tolerance and inclusion. Racial, Sexist or religious slights of any kind are absolutely not tolerated, nor are slights against other groups based on sexual orientation, age, class, IQ, ethnicity or similar features.
* Sexual Harassment of ANY KIND will not be tolerated in our Forums. Any posts that are deemed to be of this nature will be immediately deleted and the poster issued with an warning.
* Political and religious discussions have no place here therefore they are not allowed.
* If you have any concerns about a post, please use the "Report Post" icon at the bottom left of the post to place a report with the administrators. Please do not take it upon yourself to reprimand a fellow member or to post a public rebuke. Simply bring it to the attention of the management and they will deal with it and the poster.
* You MUST keep a valid Email on file. If you do not, your posting privileges will be suspended and your account may be locked out.
* Any act or attempt to undermine or cause harm to our servers, computers, software, or clients is prohibited.
* Any unauthorized use or attempted use of an account, computer of ours, or of our other clients or members is prohibited. Such acts include "internet scamming" (tricking other people into releasing their passwords), password robbery, security hole scanning, and impersonation. Release of your personal account login details to others is also prohibited.
* Use of our services in any manner in violation of any state, local, United States, or international law, rule, or regulation is prohibited. Such prohibited use includes, but is not limited to, disseminating, posting or storage of any material in violation of any federal, state or local law, rule or regulation. Our servers and services may not be used for the propagation, distribution, housing, processing, storing or otherwise handling in any way lewd, obscene, pornographic or satanic materials. Also included is the posting or trafficking in government secrets, providing any information to in any way assist or encourage any terrorist activities, providing any information concerning nuclear or biological weapons or other weapons of mass destruction, posting or trafficking in obscene material, solicitation of a minor or others for illegal acts, dealing drugs, harassment, fraud, stalking, abuse or other subject matters that are prohibited under applicable federal, state or local law, rules or regulations.
* You may not use our services or servers to post or disseminate in any manner, any information or material which may be dangerous, damaging, defamatory, libelous, slanderous, scandalous, private information or injurious to persons or property which, directly or indirectly, may be used to create danger, damage or injury to persons or property, nor may you use our services or servers to inflict emotional distress make unlawful threats, stalk, interfere with any contract or prospective relationships or engage in sexual or other harassment.
* As AuCaDo is a forum where many pictures of registered animals are placed, along with much other copyrighted digital media we have a strict policy on such. You may not use our services or servers to post or disseminate in any manner, any information or material which infringes the intellectual property rights or other proprietary rights of any third party, including, without limitation, material protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret or other intellectual property right used with proper authorization. Infringement may result from, among other activities, the unauthorized copying and posting of pictures, logos, software, articles, musical works and videos. You shall comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). All other non copyrighted content posted within the AuCaDo Forums remains the intellectual property of the owners. Please respect this and do not steal or plagiarise any content from here. You represent and warrant that you have all the rights, power, and authority necessary to any content submitted by your person.

The Owners and Staff of AuCaDo Forums reserve the right to remove, edit, move, or close any thread, and remove or change any avatar, username or signature for any reason. We reserve the right to revise, add to, or modify our policies or service agreement at any time. We have the right to terminate your account or restrict its use if we believe you have violated or may violate any of our policies. Bans may be of short duration, or they may be permanent depending on the infraction. A member is entitled to appeal their ban by choice of the management; they may do so by contacting the managers.


Privacy Statement:

Any information collected for the registration process is used solely by AuCaDo Forums to create your account, track Forum usage, and to communicate with your person if the need so arises. Required information is a valid email address.

Personal information collected by AuCaDo may be stored and processed in the United States, Australia, or any other country in which AuCaDo maintain facilities. By using the service, you consent to any such transfer of information outside of your country. Neither AuCaDo, nor any of its administration staff, hold any responsibility or liability for the deletion of, the failure to store, or to transmit any content or other communications maintained by the service.

Whilst hosted in the United States, AuCaDo is subject to the current homeland security act. AuCaDo is not run by lawyers. If you find that collection of your personal information, or any other piece of electronic data is objectionable then petition the US government, not AuCaDo. AuCaDo has no jurisdiction in law in any country.

Posting personal information about people such as real names, telephone numbers, street/postal addresses and email addresses is not allowed without permission from that person. Certain exceptions may be needed in regards to urgent rescue animals. All due care will always be undertaken to protect any sensitive information in these scenarios as is possible.

Note that the messaging system known as “Pee Mail” is generally called "private" to distinguish it from normal public forum posting. Your Pee Mail can be viewed by certain Administrators; they don't want to read it but if any of the above rules are breached, then your Pee Mail may be reviewed for supporting evidence. Pee Mail is an optional feature you can enable or disable in your UserCP.
